About me
Thank you for visiting my store. At a young age I've always had a love for Native jewelry. I found out as a teen that my fathers mother was from a reservation in Arizona. She was sent to San Bernardino in a box car at the age of 9. She does not remember much of her youth just that her mother died from TB and her fathers new wife did not want to raise her and her brother. She was sent to live with an aunt and uncle here in California. She like many Native Americans were raised Mexican so they would not to be bullied or looked down on. My Grandmother was a very kind and yet stern person, whom always had unique skills. It wasn't 'until I started asking questions about my family as a teen that she was very open about her past. I have learned many things from my family. What i have gained most from my grandmother's experience is the knowledge that even though we can sometimes feel like things around us are negative and suffocating, life could be so much worse. We all struggle at times. We all need to take a moment and respect ourselves and others . We need to realize we must cherish ourselves and those most precious to us and be accepting of others. My interest in Native inspired jewelry comes from deep inside. I wish to share some of this with you . I hope this space becomes a fun place for you to build your passion of collecting.
